River fun in the mountain sun.

The town of Willow Creek, located on Highway 299 less than an hour from the coast, is the gateway to the unlimited recreation possibilities of the million-acre Six Rivers National Forest.  River rafting, backpacking, fishing, mountain biking and back country touring are all popular pursuits.  MAP

In town, the China Flat Museum offers local history displays as well as the world's largest collection of bigfoot artifacts.  Visit a local winery, play golf or just relax and enjoy nature.

The area is also ideal for scenic driving --- Highway 299 has been designated the Trinity Scenic Highway, while Highway 96 from Willow Creek to Hoopa, Weitchpec and Orleans is the Bigfoot Scenic Highway.
