Bicycle Tour of the Unknown Coast

Come participate in the Tour of the Unknown Coast and enjoy cycling through some of the most beautiful country in the United States.

Events for the whole family! 10-, 20-(family ride), and 50 courses plus California's toughest "century," the 100-mile loop through the redwoods, tracing the Lost Coast to the Victorian Village of Ferndale.

Free camping at the start/finish.  Plenty of sites, no reservations needed, just show up and pitch your tent or park your rig.  There are showers and real bathrooms.  For RVs needing hook-ups there is a $15 charge.

This is a non-profit fund raising event.  In addition to participating in an invigorating and challenging ride you will be helping to support the North Coast Community.

Go directly to their website for more details.

Riders can expect to experience a variety of weather changes. Inland can be warm, while the higher altitudes can be cold, and the area along the ocean is usually windy.  Riders should come prepared.  At AW Way Park there is a full lunch provided: Water, fruit, bagels, sandwiches and cookies.
