Humboldt Coastal Nature Center

Gateway to the Manila Dunes, providing access to over 1000 acres of coastal wildlife habitat.

Tails and restrooms are available during daylight hours - -just follow the trailhead signs.  

The interpretive center is open to the public 10 am - 4 pm Monday thru Saturday and Noon to 4 pm on Sundays.   You can also find self-guided tour brochures in the sign-in box next to the trail head. 

Pets are welcome, but please remember to clean up after your pet with the bags provided. As a courtesy to other visitors, we ask that you keep dogs on a leash while on the trail.

From Arcata, take Hwy 255 (Samoa Blvd) South to Manila. From Eureka, take Route 255 North. Look for Friends of the Dunes signs on Hwy 255 directing you to Stamps Lane and the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center.
